Stress Factor in 140 adult ICU patients(16) was 1.2±0.25 x Harris-Benedict calculation (25) , which corresponds to 1.384 x REE based on formula derived by Cunningham(23) or Nelson et al (24). Stress Factor in Pediatrics, as in Adults, should be entered according to clinical indications.
